NOTE:This page is no longer being updated. I have stopped the SAH clients on the computer it was on. I have no plans on running it anymore. This page is here for historical purposes.

This page shows the current status of my participation in the Seti At Home project. I am part of Team Art Bell (information about his show is here). The code and other info is available at the bottom of the page. I welcome any improvements, comments, etc. The data that I record gets programatically updated once every 6 hours assuming that I can connect to the stats server (which is not always possible).

As of I had done units.

The graph below shows my averages over time.

The data here is generated and culled via a Perl script that I wrote. It's nothing special, and is, in many ways, a quick and dirty hack, but it does work. The graphs are generated from the data by gnuplot. Gnuplot makes this process very easy and customizable. This is a PHP page that parses the units log to figure out what I've done.

I use a number of tools to facilitate my seti usage across various platforms (Win32, Solaris, and Linux).

  • setimgr to handle local caching and process managment on Unix
  • jSetiDoor to handle global cache managment and centralized logging
  • SetiDriver to handle local caching and process managment on Windows
